Do You Hear What I Hear?

Posted: December 20, 2014

Back in October we announced that we would be returning as guests for 2014 Christmas Special of the Hey You Kids Get Off My Lawn! with Old Man Freakboy and Reverend Jim show. The fresh word from Old Man Freakboy is that they will be playing our new 2014 Mix of "What's This?" on their show, airing Monday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. EST. Those of you living near Utica, NY can catch the show live at WPNR 90.7. For all you other fantastic fans, we will post a link to the show's recorded broadcast as soon as it becomes available but be sure to follow them on Facebook and keep an eye on their website for updates, past episodes and a bunch of other really cool stuff!

Much thanks to Old Man Freakboy and Reverend Jim for welcoming us back to the show! We suspect this definitely earns them a place on the Nice List, but we'll be sure to put a good word in with Mr. Claus during our next conference call.

Christmas-Countdown-ingly,

Here are a few peeks at rehearsals for the preparations for our 2012 release party, featuring songs not yet heard in the show footage. Hit up the link to find out which and watch more holiday hijinks ensue!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Almost!

But decidedly wonderful! Because this is the first of our December weekly videos, we decided it most appropriate to open with the first song from our 2012 record release party. Please enjoy our banjo-rific take on "I Have a Little Dreidel"! The fun continues with the classic Springsteen rendition of "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town," so y'all had better be good, for goodness sake! Check our YouTube channel for individual credits, and be sure to Subscribe and keep up with all the Sugarpills happenings.

We've Dressed In Our Holiday Best!

Posted: November 28, 2014

Greetings, SugarFans!

Alexis and Christmas Tree Girl You may notice some small changes here on our homepage: Santa's elves have been working tirelessly to give the website a slight makeover, and to include some NEW FEATURES! The biggest and brightest is our newly updated Wish List, where you can still send us requests and get in touch. But now, there's a way for you to share just what Christmas means to you. How so? Read on!

As part of the coming year we are going to be sharing videos of holiday memories and magical happenings. Kevin's been editing video footage from the record release party and rehearsals, and we are preparing to launch a video a week now through Christmas on our YouTube Channel. After the New Year, premiere 'Pills Kevin, Angelica, and Alexis will have recorded THEIR Christmas Memories and will release them starting in January.

But you all KNOW how much we love the holidays, so this time we want to hear from YOU! We've created a “Share” option on our Wish List where you can submit your Christmas stories and memories, and we'll be releasing a fan piece every month for AT LEAST the coming year, depending on how much you all have to say.

Not a fan of being on film? No worries! You are also invited to submit written stories, poetry, musings, images, even links to other things i.e. other peoples' stories which have struck a chord with you (so long as you tell us WHY it's important). You can send and share as much or as little info as you want to include!

Just don't send us anything about "Christmas Shoes," or we WILL release the hounds.

December-edly Yours,
<3 The Sugarpills
